We found this guy named Marcos and we taught him about prophets and conference and he was super down to learn more and even asked us if we could meet up the next day! So Wednesday we met up and taught him the plan of salvation and he started crying and loved it. It was super spiritual and he said the catholic and evangelical Churches “don't fill his soul”. We had 3 super powerful lessons with him but he lives in the other elders sector so we gotta pass him off to them.


On Easter we were walking by the highway and a car pulled over and gave us chocolate eggs. Then we turned a random corner with a store and some kid was already standing arms fully extended towards us with 2 sodas in his hands and gave them to us. It was the weirdest thing but such a miracle so I'll take it.

Today was a zone p-day and we had an Easter activity and I drew the Portland temple with a sunset on the egg and it was lit and played some soccer volleyball and had an egg throwing and catching competition with comps and we almost won but then my comp dropped it so I didn't get to pie one of the zl's in the face sadly.

Spiritual thought:
I loved President Christofferson's talk about the attributes of Christ and how the attributes that we all desire to be more Christ like all start in the thoughts, desires and nature of Christ. When we can align out thoughts and desires with Christ is when we can then start to be more like Him.

October 6, 2025 The end of this transfer marks 1/8th of my mission which is the craziest statement I've ever heard. It's flown by so quickly but I've enjoyed every second of it so much it's going by way too quickly. Funny story, we were at seminary and the seminary teacher was teaching. We were playing hangman and obviously in spanish but I ended up being the one who got the word which was super cool actually. Anyways the 1st counselor in the bishopric was sitting by me and he goes “the gringo N****r got it” and me and my comp just started dying. The N word gets thrown around like crazy down here. November 24, 2025 Alright so this actually happened last week but me and Elder Davis had an intercambio and not in my sector. Anyways, a random guy stopped in his car and said elders you guys should come to my house. And before that it was going pretty rough ngl. Anyways we go to His house and he gave us icecream and turns out he has 6 kids, only 1 is baptized and his wife Isn't baptized either. Then Elder Davis told me the whole family came to church and 2 of them now have fechas for being baptized! There was an argument in Elders quorum about idk exactly but something about truth and there was like 5 chileans rapping super fast and then the guy in charge looks at us and was like what do you think elders and we had no clue what was going on  then he stared pointing at the board and his hand writing was bummy so that didn't help. August 21, 2025 Final week at MTC!!   I can't believe I'm saying this right now but I have less than a week left at the MTC. It's gone by so quickly, my flight is Tuesday at 8pm and it's an almost a 9 hour flight and then we hop on a bus for I think another 5 ½ hours!   Not a lot happened this week, it's lowkey just the same as every other week. Me and my comp made this study frisbee game where we do conjugations and if you get it right you throw it at an object; most likely a garbage can but if you hit it you get 1 point and making it in you get 3. Also conjugations are the worsttt. They had chicken bakes for dinner on tuesday and they were so fire.
